I think the emotional abuse Heard did is FAR worse than any physical abuse. This aspect (ie the emotional abuse) seems to be missing from the piece. It is entirely plausible that women emotionally abuse men (and other women) at comparable rates to men emotionally abusing women. Emotional abuse really knows no gender. Speaking as someone who has endured both physical violence and emotional abuse/gaslighting; the gaslighting is much worse.
